Dear Colleagues

On behalf of the local organising committee, it is our great pleasure to invite you all to the 22nd Annual Scientific Meeting of the Difficult Airway Society. The meeting will be held from the 22nd to the 24th of November in London.

The venue is in the historic 20th century theatre, the Mermaid centre, one of the oldest theatres at the site of Puddle Dock and Curriers Alley in Blackfriars in central London. The City of London is unique, different from any other in the world with numerous attractions for visitors. Big Ben, Tower of London, Buckingham Palace, London Eye, Art Galleries, Museums.… the list goes on and on. It is very well placed to enjoy numerous outdoor activities, socialising and dining.

The meeting will follow the traditional format with workshops on the first day on Wednesday, focusing on various practical aspects of airway management skills and simulation. The trade exhibition will open with a welcome drinks reception on Wednesday evening.

The scientific sessions will start on Thursday catering for the needs of all airway enthusiasts with an excellent programme of lectures, debates and discussions. The talks will be delivered by renowned national and international faculty, all of who are experts in their fields of work focusing on airway management.

The Gala dinner will be held at the House of Commons and will be one to remember. We would like to thank our sponsors, exhibitors, DAS members and the AAGBI team for their outstanding support and help in ensuring that the meeting is a success.

We look forward to welcoming you to three days of fun, learning and networking at DAS 2017.

On behalf of local organising committee
DAS 2017,

Best wishes,
